How we use the information you give us in a nomination

The MSS Usra Award 2026 is run by the Model Service Society (MSS), Dubai, and administered by the MSS Women Empowerment & Inclusion Committee. This notice explains what we collect, why, and how long we keep it, in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).

What we collect

  • The family representative's name, Emirates ID, mobile number, email address, emirate of residence and nationality.
  • For each family member: name, relationship, age and, for members aged 18 or over, Emirates ID; optionally a contact number.
  • A description of the family's contribution, who benefited and when.
  • Any files you upload, such as photos, videos, letters and certificates. These may show family members, including children.

Why we use it

  • To check eligibility, verify the nomination and let the jury assess it.
  • To contact the family about the nomination and the result.
  • To present the award. Publicity about the winning family and finalists, such as the family feature film, is agreed with the family first.

Who can see it

Only the award team and the jury members of the MSS Women Empowerment & Inclusion Committee. Uploaded files are kept in private storage and are never publicly accessible. We do not sell or share your information for marketing.

How long we keep it

Nominations and files are kept until the 2026 award cycle closes and for a limited period afterwards set by the organisers, then deleted.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete the information in your nomination, or withdraw it, by writing to [email protected] with your registration number.
